Welcome to the The Temple and Observatory Group. We founded the Group in March 2013 to foster understanding of the doctrines, practices and history of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint through a series of seminars where members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints could hear from leading Mormon intellectuals like Richard Bushman, Fiona Givens, and Terryl Givens. Our first seminar was held at the Provo Public Library in July. Since then, we’ve held seminars in New York City and Washtingon, D.C. and have an additional seminar scheduled for Boston in November.
